Are you signing up for the Mears Lawsuit?

  • No, Special Accounts and Miss Rebecca will help me until they don't and then I will cry.

1. Read the lawsuit: http://mearslitigation.com/

2. Signup to protect your claim.

3. Read how the IRS determines IC status: http://www.lctmag.com/regulations/a...-understanding-irs-regulations-for-chauffeurs

If you are a current driver don't be alarmed. The law is on your side and retaliation is not a good thing for Mears to engage in. Protect your rights and your future. If you do not signup and Mears closes down the current Luxury operation (It's highly possible) you will receive nothing from this lawsuit when you could be entitled to a substantial award.

But if you don't want to signup that's fine with me, I can certainly spend your share.

Mears Taxi Drivers need not apply. This is only for those that sweat all day into a cheap polyester suit jacket.

There seems to be some sort of misunderstanding out there that the attorney fees are going to 50% of this settlement. Please educate yourself as to how attorney fees work in a class action lawsuit, what your rights are and take the time to consider the implications if you are asked to sign a new contracts at Mears.
