Those Toyota are starting to rival Range River with their off road capabilities!
it's clearly a lyft.Is the silver car an Uber car?
Bahahaha Good one!!!!it's clearly a lyft.
For some it's their first time steering something that didn't have hoovesI don't get why driving is so difficult for so many people...
Looks like a diplomat car or out of state (no front license tag) - the taxi was definitely headed for the curb in front of the WWF building and directly across from the West End Residence building (and parking for the Mexican Consulate)Is the silver car an Uber car? I can guess what happened. Silver car was pulling from kerb/driveway as cab driver was pulling into cab line at hotel. Neither was looking where he was going. WHAM-O!!!!!!!!!!
That is where many of the cab drivers who are overparking the stand at the Fairmont Hotel sit. The cab stands have limited capacity. There are more cab drivers, these days, who are sitting on hotel stands. Funny, I never understood how those guys made any money before Uber. Decidedly, I do not understand it, now. The only way that you could make any money working hotels was to pay the doorman for the best trips. I refused to pay, so I did not work hotels. These days, half the people who want to take these good trips are doing it with TNC applications, so the doormen are losing out bigly. Ask me why I am not shedding a tear for them.the taxi was definitely headed for the curb in front of the WWF building and directly across from the West End Residence building
I disagree with your assessment that DC cab drivers (in general) are in any way measureably better drivers than rideshare drivers. They are possibly more arrogant as opposed to ignorant. But the end is the same...they are equally bad, in my experience.the silver car had to be an Uber driver. Taxis in DC drive about 10x better then your average idiot Uber driver.
