I don’t get it
Uber does not care about riders or even drivers
Here we are at 6 PM the Orlando international airport after a big thunderstorm
65 inbound flights
1 to 5 UberX in the queue
And Uber puts the surge not where the drivers are staged...... but out by Fridays on 436
So now drivers have to leave the safety of the Uber lot and drive out to get a surge..???

This is so effed up.

There’s a reason I don’t drive anymore
4 1/2 years 17,000 rides mostly XL and I gave it up

Tonight
In Orlando Uber lets uber X cue go to 0 without a SURGE. TWICE....
and idiots Ants jump into the cue, they are so desperate.
Wake Up People
Uber now takes 54% now and they keep going online..

Has anyone else noticed that there's no real quests anymore these weird boosts aren't doing us any favors
Uber's collecting more and more from the customers and we're collecting less

Uber GPS are useless.

The beginning of the end....... tick tock.......

What a show. I just wish everything worked out differently. Maybe pay the drivers fair and raise the prices a bit?
Florida drivers need to go to legislature and overrule The Uber law and tell legislatures that Florida Rideshare Safety and Transperency Act is the way to go. Its an 80/20 percent split on all rides with a minimum under a mile being 7.50 giving to a driver with a ride with no stops or a round trip included. A trip from mco to Tampa would pay drivers about 145 dollars. Are you on board with then message me. We can make a difference.

It would be great if someone from the legislature actually drove Uber or Lyft for 5 days.
They would get a better understanding on what is going on.

Maybe some Media exposure. Get Ch9 to expose UBER 2022.

The media will never expose Uber. Generally, the public doesn’t care if they like the product. Look at Apple and Nike. Everyone knows they use 6year old slave child to make their goods, but everyone keeps buying! No one really wants to know how the sausage is made.

Saturday I don't think magic Kingdom surged, even after emptying the queue. It's hard for me to tell because I was busy as sin once the passengers hit "no cars available" when trying to ping cars.

Make that $$

Riders got to be pissed off.

MCO UberX hit 0 twice last night.

And all uber could come up with was a measly $4.00 surge ??????

Uber must not care....

I'd be pissed off if I few into MCO and had to wait 20 mins for an Uber X driver.....

Uber be FUBAR.

Mears got to be smiling..

And some of friends wonder why I’m switching to Mears luxury lol.

airport is going to crap,
Early morning has gone to crap.

My last day driving a cab I had 4 pax tell me they couldnt get an Uber/Lyft. They opened the app and no cars available.

Hilton Bonnet creek at 4:30 am? No cars available.
Ritz Carlton at 5:30? No cars…
Some random dude who lives 5 minutes from sea world at 6:40 No cars…
Disney star cruiser at 7:45? Yup you guessed it no cars.

Not like we are talking Christmas or pine hills at 3:00 am we are talking tourist areas… 3 airport runs and disney- universal studios (hard rock hotel) trips.

Like this is the steak and potatoes of driving Orlando and Uber shit the bed because these trips are incresingly not worth it.

When I was at Hilton bonnet creek there was another driver loading someone else from another company.

Was it an Uber driver?

No it was a quick cab driver.

Like a year ago if I say at a tourist hotel and people watched there would be at least 3 Uber pickups for every cab fare in the early am. Now the customers just can’t get an Uber in the early am.

at those hours I suspect it just isn't worth it for most drivers to do it.

I drove the 15-20 miles down the 528 3 times that morning. $15 in tolls and over 100 total miles on those fares. Uberx would have paid what $50 for the three of them?

Uber/Lyft have shit the bed here, rates are destroying their business and they dont even notice.

those 4 fares consisted of almost $200 for me. A heck of a morning.. before the Ukraine invasion I’d be lucky to load twice to the airport from the tourist areas and today I loaded 4 times with next to no downtime. The ritz fare I booked on the beachline while I was driving back.

Then I got another trip and hour back to Spartenburg and Uber paid me 55 dollars. Customer paid 110. You have to be effing kidding me. Ive stopped driving im like about to go down to Orlando

Again
Friday night
28 flights inbound
Surge at $4.50

These travelers are spending thousands of dollars to fly to Orlando only to get stuck at the airport waiting for an Uber that is not going to come
