"Yes. You can drive a 2010 car for Uber."

But, apparently, nothing over 10 years old (per Uber's website.) I tried to sign up for Uber using my 2005 Acura TL. 4 doors, all leather, clean, no dents, detailed like new paint, never smoked in, back seats never occupied, new Michelin tires, low mileage etc. and was told sorry your car is too old.

So, I guess folks would rather ride in a new crappy cheap Ford Fusion or Chevy Malibu rather than a nice clean comfortable older Acura. So be it.

It isn't Uber/Lyft. It's local/state requirements.

Point of order - I've sat in a 2016 Acura and a 2012 Fusion. Ain't nuthin' wrong with the Fusion.

I can't believe my 2006 Saturn Ion is not Select. It's leather. (/sarcasm)
