I doubt it's a glitch, its something Uber picked up from Lyft, something Lyft does all the timeNot sure how that would work, I've never taken a trip that I didn't actively accept. Glitch in the app?

Yeah; it's one thing to have to go back in and stop additional requests for pool rides but if you have to do it for every ride, that will be a P.I.T.A. That's like having to take a screen shot of every request to make sure they pay the surge. It may be a good idea but not very practical.You have been an Uber driver since 2014, still does not know how to stop additional requests..my guess is you drive at base rate a lot.. nice
