It's like this, with taxis you know who's running them because they bring you your drugs. You fsck with a taxi your dead meat, simple as that. Taxi drivers will beat down a drunk in seconds if he even thinks of doing something to another taxi driver.

But Uber is a corporation, the drivers are independent contractors and competitors with other drivers. All have passed background checks, unlike taxis, thus clean good people for the most part. Thus it's basically an open goddam season on Uber drivers because we are not allowed to carry a gun, nor part of the drug trade because they are tracking the shit out of us. Certainly another Uber driver won't come to the aid of another because to us its more money with another driver taken out.

So how to reverse this situation? Our vehicles are not clearly as visible vibrant as a taxi and this may be part of the problem. But if even so, without the assaulter knowing in advance he's dead meat before he screws with an Uber more are just going to do the same.

What Uber needs to do is bail this joker out of jail and leave his post animal meat grinder remains on the streets to send the word that it won't take this crap. 😂

You know I have been doing X since May of this year ( did food only before that ) and I have been asked what is the worst thing that happened to you?

I tell them two young men twice tried to carjack me on the north side of H-Town and the Pax’s would ask what did you do to be here today and I told them the idiots forgot to bring a damn gun!

I am in control of that car at all times and let say I have a car fast approaching and I hear gun fire the first damn thing I am doing is using my car as a ram to slam into the side of that other car or make them jerk away from me and then slam on my Break and whip around and drive the wrong way on the interstate until I reach the last off-ramp I passed and the get off there!
