Not as much as not being able to see clearly through a windscreen interferes with the safety of the driver, passengers and other road users.

Phone does overheat time to time when you have it on the air vent even if that particular air vent is shut, but there's still some heat at the back of it and it affects the phone every now and then during the winter. But overall it is such a delight to have magnet holder, you'd feel stupid for not having it all these years.

Alternatively buy the magnet holder which you can stick in a suitable place on the dashboard away from the air vents, like the second one I listed in previous post.

Just put it as far right as you can Anything centre or left of the steering wheel is a nick...

Anker (yes there ain't a W) sell very good quality iphone leads (guaranteed for life), phone mounts, battery powerbanks and other good stuff.

Also listed on Amazon and although it's a Chinese company they have very good customer service.

My powerbank was purchased in 2012 and still going strong
