They used to show the PT when you accepted the ride a while back but then took that away.

The technology exists. They just don't turn it on for the drivers they purport to care about.

I just started using the Surge Chaser for Lyft app on iOS. Seems like it has a lot of potential. I've been getting multiple Primetime notifications from this app when Lyft doesn't show anything. Message me if you would like a referral code.

But this is the reason why primetime is higher than surge. I remember when they showed it as well but prefer they do not considering drivers stay way because of it.

I've seen it referred to as PT Roulette or Lyft Roulette. You accept the ping, drive to the pax, take them to the destination, end the trip THEN find out if you got PT.

Supposedly it's to prevent drivers from cherry picking rides.

Few things more disheartening than doing a ride you think is PT only to find out it isn't.

How so? I have two phones. How can I figure out the primetime multiplier on a specific ride by using my second phone?
