I received a ride request and was on a one-way street when I got it. I had to go a block to make a U-turn to go back to the destination. Lift in its infinite wisdom thought I wasn’t following their GPS coordinates and canceled my trip. When I complain to them they first said it was a communication problem with the platform. Then they said they canceled on me because I was going the wrong way. Either way I was penalized for something I had no control over and they should be aware of my location and the steps it would take to arrive. Done with them – lesser of two evils is Uber- at least you don’t receive cancellations for nothing.
