It was Lux Black and if it was old rate card, that ride is $102. Whether that was regular LYTF or LUX Black, it's irrelevant. The point is, UFF was estimated with 43 min trip time. The trip ended up taking 1 hour and 11 minutes, which was significantly longer and fare should've been adjusted accordingly.
Na bro it’s 2023 be lucky you even got a Lyft black request. Lyft black is like buying a suit at Walmart

First they refused to pay cancelation fee when I waited the stated wait time and called the rider. Their reason was that I didn't arrived at the pickup location on-time or 5 minutes after original ETA. WTF does pickup arrival time has anything to do with whether rider shows up or not? 1st time I was late was because of traffic. 2nd was because the GPS directed me to wrong street. As a transportation company, they should understand and consider traffic is a big factor. And they should get their GPS working properly.

2nd, I was given an UFF with estimated trip time of 42 min. Actual time took much longer, 1 hour and 11 minutes and they refused to make any adjustment.

I hope this company burns to the ground.

Was this an XL ride? I think they’re doing this, because so many drivers are just sitting and not making their way to the passengers, hoping that they would cancel. That’s the only thing I can think of of why they count in the amount of time to get to Passenger ‘s.

We all know that would never happen the next 4 rides would be low ball which brings per mile per hour down in more than half that..
Exactly. They’re cutting most lux rides by more than $6 in LA. Being that these rides are so hard to come by now they know we’re desperate, and we will take it anyway.

Fair enough, but you knew that you are no longer on the old rate card. Lyft also would have given you the mileage up front, so you knew how many miles you were going. And unless you were brand new to the area and had never driven there, you would know that there was a possibility of traffic jams, accidents, and other factors that cause delays, so no, Lyft shouldn't have to pay you more for factors they can't control.

They also can't control me not accepting a ride because there may be delays/ bad traffic and I know I won't be paid extra. They're just creating a rod for their own back in this regard. When they hold their drivers in such bad faith, no one is going to go the extra mile for them, quite literally. Why should they?

Whole issue is Lyft.
Go bankrupt or be boughtout.

Never overly manipulate the free market.
AND, never manipulate the drivers.
2 things that Lyft does not understand.
They would’ve been bought out years ago if it wasn’t for TK running his mouth. I mean he’s literally sitting there with the paperwork in his hand to buy Lyft and he gloats. Deal over
