Does Lyft issue a dividend? To date, Lyft has not declared or paid a cash dividend. We currently intend to retain any future earnings and do not expect to pay any dividends in the foreseeable future.

Meaning lyft CEO is profiting from the stock

Wow. Are you serious?

They're have ZERO obligation to pay a dividend.

And nothing, at all, wrong with the CEO being compensated very generously.

Are you a Lyft stockholder?

If you are, that means you made a conscious decision to invest in an organization that treats its drivers like dirt.

Uber and Lyft stockholders get no sympathy from me.

I'm guessing you don't understand how stocks work. Lyft would still be in the "Growth" phase, rarely would a growth stock issue dividends. Dividends are for well established, profitable companies that no longer expect to have rapid growth.

Most invest in growth stocks and expect the share price to rise. Investing in dividend stocks one would expect an annual % yield as opposed to expecting a huge share price rise.

You obviously dont know squat about stocks.

It is a scam, but not for that reason.

Lyft founders have 48% controlling interest, and I strongly suspect that 'friendly' entities control at least another 3%. Which means they are not accountable to the public like other companies might be. That's what makes them a scam, or at least a bad investment long term.
