Lyft smooth cruiser report is BS!

I am a smooth driver, always braking and accelerating smoothly to maximize my Hybrids fuel economy.

Over the past two weeks, Lyft has been harassing me, saying my driving is in the bottom 20% of drivers for smoothness. My braking is in the bottom ten percent.

Obviously its based on the sensor in the phone, which is hard mounted. There are so many moon crater potholes jarring the phone, that any readings are meaningless. I don't know if this is plain harassment or a technical glitch.

I've never had a driving complaint.

They need to kill this bullshit program. Is it glitching for anyone else?

Typical Lyft, putting silly policies in place and not focusing on the bottom line.

When I called to drive for them it was like talking to aliens. So glad I wasn't accepted because they were on some anti pickup truck binge.

BTW the problem is your choice of vehicle, not that it's a hybrid, but that it's not built to withstand the rigors of the roads that your doing a lot of miles on.

My truck has the same suspension as the full size SUV, thus with the right tires, its smooth as silk.

I used to love uber's daily driver report
It's the reason I get so good of gas mileage,
tire life and knock wood lack of transmission
problems. Embrace the bullshit 😉

I made a post about this too a couple of weeks ago. Not only is it nagware, it is extremely inaccurate. As I recall what gave it away is it claimed my phone was not mounted. That was simply wrong.

Since Lyft slashed their fares by 30% my driving for them has become 100% safe.

Figures, I go to the gas station after this, and the Radar cop is there today, looked , i'm almost 45 in a 35. But he turned the gun away and looked away at the same time. Dodged that bullet. Get to Red light and see his lights on the car behind me. That was close. But for me it's a known spot so I usually look. The Fwy ends there and if someone tries or runs the light, your toast.

I think something is wrong with the algo. I have always scored in the top percentage and now suddenly I’m low in many categories.

I know my driving habits haven’t changed and I know no pax ever complains and I get complimented on my driving from time to time, with a 5.0 rating.

Thankfully the communication has always basically said this report doesn’t matter in the grand scheme of things.

I drive on potholes and I am a reasonably aggressive driver and I’ve never really had an issue with Lyfts report, but I got one this week. Uber is always messaging me that I am speeding. I take a lot of short rides, so speeding is not really an issue. I bet they just like to randomly harass people so you’re posting it on the interwebs.

Don't really care; have no idea how I rate there.
