My friend who drives a yellow cab wants to Sign up to drive Uber and lyft...he says he can't make money anymore on yellow.. he has driven yellow cab for 20 years in NYC and he says he has never seen things this bad!!
Thought I'd make some money introducing him to lyft and Uber. The Refferal bonus is just $100 for lyft. I remember getting $800 last December! Uber is $300. Not bad.. how much are your lyft referral bonuses?
Also...
I feel like delaying him a little bit to see what happens with this business so he doesn't jump from the frying pan into the fire! Any advice?

Its sad how uber destroyed yellow. I worked yellow for 10 years and jump ship once i saw my earnings taking a dive.

He might as well do Uber and take advantage of the $1500/wk

I was asking for tge Refferal bonus for myself as a driver referring a new driver on lyft.
As for his bonuses, I think he can get those bonuses easily since he knows the business well after driving yellow for so long.

Don't sign up with all the apps at once. You'll never hit any incentives while runners by multiple apps. Better off starting with Uber and then signing up for something else after you've reached the incentives.

As far as the signup bonuses go, I got the $1000 offer when I signed up last year with Lyft. It was a $1000 for me and a thousand for the person who's code I used. 100 rides in 30 days which wasn't too bad for a grand.

I think they have reduced it too much now. Just this last December it was $800 and now it's just 100$.
Good idea for him to sign up for one at a time. He can start with Uber then lyft later.

My app says $100. Lyft is doing the right thing. They let uber bring in the virgins into the system by offering a bunch of incentives, eventually they will all crawl to lyft for only a hundred bucks.

( drum roll please ) sorry you didn't apply the new driver sign on bonus when applying and you do not have one. Ha ha ha yes I did and I took a screen shot of it.... it's see how this one turns out. If he wants to drive in NJ and if he makes 490 rides in his first 60 days I can give him a referal code. He will get $1040 and I'll reward you $300
