So I email Lyft and ask where they are chronically short of drivers. I'm single, looking for autonomy (ha!) and can move anywhere.
The response takes several days, then basically says they don't know where they need people because all of their drivers are contractors.
Either they have no idea how to keep stats and plan, or they aren't undermanned anywhere, and are really short on PAX.
No wonder to me that they're getting their lunch eaten. If I was their mom I wouldn't even pack one for them any longer.
