Lyft pax 40 min away

Last week I was in Lawrenceville, got a first ping for 20 minutes towards Athens. I declined it (thanks for the "no thanks" button, Uber). I almost immediate got another one at 30 minutes away. I did another no-thanks and moved closer to I85. No more long pickups after that.

Lyft is real good for doing this. I used to take everything from Lyft because I don't get a lot of pings and I was concerned about my acceptance rate. But, after getting and declining 37, 29, 28 and 25 minute pickups I don't care about my acceptance rate.

FYI, I have tracked requests over 15 min away on Lyft. There is a 40% cancellation rate after you are on your way with no cancel feel compensation from Lyft. I will NOT accept a request over 10 min away unless it is a repeat rider that you can identify with Lyft immediately. Uber you cannot identify the rider before accepting the request. Uber, acceptance rates do not matter anyway.

Was it a Premier request? I have never had a bad long distance Premier request (not that I get them that often anyway).

Every other UP.net member be damned if you send me a request from 15+ mins away and I accept I'm cherry picking the hell out of it.

Only 1 was a Premier. The rest was Plus. It was the 37 minute request. I may consider a long request if I'm going that way anyway. I was at Camp Creek Marketplace and the ping was in Fayetteville.
