Lyft used to be about $1 a mile by me now with this upfront pricing they want you to do long distance trips for .60 .70 cents a mile it's absolutely ridiculous and no driver should ever take these. The IRS says it now cost .65 a mile to run your car and Lyft barley wants to pay you that. DRIVERS DO NOT TAKE THESE TRIPS YOUR LOSING MONEY!!!

Thanks for the advice dude and yes I support what your saying. I've noticed I do way better with Uber . On Uber I've been getting amazing tips. Might be the time of year to. Lyft I get tips but it just seems like Uber I get alot of 10 dollar tips

I feel bad for a lot of you in your areas. I'm making a little over 20 an hour and I was complaining about that. One dude the other day told me he's only clearing like 10-15. I really feel like it all evens out in the end though. We all make similar

Lyft had one the other day$183 for 250 miles. Off course I declined then just for fun I did the same ride like I was a customer Lyft was charging $400 I really hope no driver took it. It was like a 10 hr round trip

That's not the worst I've seen.

At least it's almost $1/mile.

hey I mistakenly took a Lyft trip for $20 for a supposed to be 45 minute trip, that turned out to be an hour, and then 40 minute deadhead return trip. After expenses I made $7 an hour. Woohoo! Gotta love those crazy Lyft kids! Never again!

Someone posted this one on Reddit a couple weeks back. A 231 mile drive @ $0.44/mile. Definitely one of the worst UFP fares I've seen. Truly feel sorry for whatever poor bastard accepted this.

Just wait a little longer the fares will keep going lower and lower. Does anyone actually drive without bonus or surge anymore? You'd have to do 25 pickups to make near 120 on a non bonus or surge day. It's getting pathetic

I stoped driving for Lyft the day they started the fixed price I logged out deleted the app and won’t look back.
