Good! I think Lyft is one bad apple. They recently sued New York City to block a new law mandating minimum wage requirements. Also a class-action lawsuits for disability discrimination in California and drivers were on strike in protest of low wages and unsatisfactory working conditions while they went public.
All they are doing is provoking and asking for compliance that would radically reshape contractors whole new meaning in the gig economy. All because they continue to exploit drivers with impunity. Every body is rushing in to classify their whole business structure and employees as independent contractors, many people herr think classification of workers as independent contractors as illegal but is because as I said before TRUE contracting means companies cannot prohibit or cap workers earnings, by micro-managing said contractors.
And when you sign arbitration agreement is nearly impossible for this drivers to get fair pay.
