This needs to be across both Canada and US. CPI is out of control and Lyft is increasing fares without increasing rates. We should all take them to arbitration.
Yes and no. They seem intent to die by their own sword. When brought around as a legal issue for both consumer and IC, they will be forced to face their legal house of cards. With the constant churning through of new drivers chasing their guarantee, it becomes anti-consumer and anti-driver as both companies seem content to let ridership and driver saturation decline in favor of them stealing as much of the fare as possible for their quarterly reports. They will continue to do this until they are forced to deal with a legal reckoning.You would do far better for bringing LYFT/UBER in line if you could get people NOT to drive for them.
