Has anyone found a solution to this since Lyft is not allowed to pick up from DTW? besides calling and asking where they are going and cancelling if they are not going far, which I know some of you do because people ***** about that lol.

My best fares have been from driving strippers home at 3 or 4 in the morning. A single 45 minute ride is more then I can make in a day from short trips.

All you can do is call. Ask how many people you will be picking up, it there are stops and where the final destination will be. I do this sometimes. No one complains. Most people don't answer the phone on bar nights. Nothing wrong or against policy to ask these questions.

The people you pick up don't complain but the ones you call and cancel on complain to other drivers. I would be worried about them reporting this to lyft because it only takes one angry rider to get fired

You do realize that yesterday (3/21) was the very first "legal" day for Uber to operate at the airport, right?
With the brand new Airport Authority agreement. You were always subject to being ticketed/towed/impounded.
My point is, Lyft is no different at the airport than Uber has been for the last 4 years!

Since when is Lyft not allowed to pick up at DTW? Since three weeks ago? I picked up someone right after a drop off three weeks ago.

Well ... Almost, I guess it's 3 years 7 months now, I think they launched in Sept. 2013.

Uber & Lyft have NEVER been "allowed" at the airport, until yesterday for Uber.
They've just been lying & cheating, and you've been rolling the dice on getting impounded all these years! Lol
