Just like uber. This may be state dependent, but i was deactivated from uber upon the re-submission of my background report when the only thing different from my hire date was accident attributed entirely to another party's negligence.

Well today lyft re-submitted my background check. And now im deactivated from there as well.

Funny how getting hit by a drunk driver can make you lose 2 jobs and there is nothing you can do about it because they told you,

"no, of course it wont be held against you in regards to (not)employment"

and the case is already settled. Nothing else to do but go **** myself.

So, as i am no longer a rideshare driver at all, i have no business on this forum. Ill leave you with this:

Dont stop in the road, make them walk.

Dont take your car to the dealer for anything but a trade in.

And since i love you all,

For the love of god get some of your eggs out of this basket.

Damn I am sorry to hear that. Remember, Don't ever treat Uber/Lyft as a job, It's just a side income supplement and you won't feel as bad.

Indeed. When uber cut me off i was distraught. Everyone at greenlight hub in atlanta knew it. Now i am working another job and was doing lyft on the side. I chuckled when i saw they deactivated me, because 100% acceptance rate might have made me 75 cents an hour or so before expenses....yeeeeaaaah that basket doesnt hold eggs thanks though.

Theres a thread on it in stories...basically they told me the accidents were counted as a minor traffic violation, regardless of whether one occurred. I then told them and every driver in there how ****e d up it is that i can get hit by a drunk ***** and they can fire me...but they can. And there is no recourse. Its like getting kicked out of a store...they can legally do that with or without a reason(not including discrimination) and you cant do anything about it.

Ask for arbitration with both companies, they have to respond.

Vets on here keep telling you guys, esp the FT, dont drive the drunks & drunk hours. The surge isn't worth it anymore. A single drunk asshole ramming into you will cost you everything.

Where is the thread? Can't find it. You should definitely go to arbitration.

Lol you obviously haven't asked them for arbitration... No company is going to freely tell you how to begin a legal proceeding against them...

That being said, I wouldn't really like to do arbitration with a major corporation without a lawyer on my side, and every lawyer I've spoken to says there is no case... If they want to kick you out of their Club they can at any time for any reason..

I know Uber was inflexible but I would try pushing on Lyft a little like you did with Uber. Maybe they will reconsider when they realize you were not at fault?

Total BS to get deactivated for not-at-fault accidents.
