Lyft deactivated my account due to excessive cancellations.

I did receive warnings via email so it's not a complete shock.

I rarely accept line rides and became fed up with numerous pickups 15 - 25 mins away, ( sometimes into NJ) while I'm sitting in prime time zones.

My driver rating is like 4.98 so I'm clean there.

Does anyone have experience with Lyft and how to make progress on reactivation?

How long?

Yes, I have accepted and then cancelled in situations. Everything from just needing a bathroom break to not feeling safe in the area to auto added line rides.

Most of the time I just let pings expire.

From your comment, it's probably accepting then cancelling that was the last straw.

I did previously send lyft messages about pickups far away and how it hurts my ratings.

I'll post in the lyft forum too.

Thank you

Just curious, this sounds like an acceptance rate problem. Did you accept these rides and then cancel? That's a big mistake if so, better to have a low acceptance rate than high cancellation. I just let the pings expire if I don't want the trip, I only cancel on no shows. I wish I had ideas for you, but from reading these forums for the last year, it seems almost impossible to get your account back online with deactivation for a high cancel rate There is a separate Lyft forum here, so if you have not posted this issue there as well, you should do so and hopefully someone has advice that will help you out.
