Jakarta Uber pays $0.17/mile, $1.60/hour waiting time, with a base fare of $0.17, and no minimum fare.
A car costs around $17/day (inclusive of maintenance), a driver gets paid minimum $7/day, and fuel is $0.51/liter, which should cover around six miles, so around $0.064/mile
If you do six hours = $9.60, and 70 Uber miles = $11.9, you earn $21.50.
But your expenses are around $23 (based on 100 miles). So you just PAID to work, and got ZERO salary.
Basically the rates are unsustainable. Real taxi firms charge $3/hour, and $0.40/mile. and there's a minimum payment of around $1.50.
