Yea. Drove Sunday as those have been very good driving days past few months. PC was rather quite. Took an airport and hoped to get a return ride back up. That didn't happen and didn't feel like deadheading it back up there.
Might start rolling into the end of ski season how warm it's been and then back to "normal" fares.
Are you all just X or XL?
odd but when I roll out after 10, can get over $200 in a few hours (both U/L) vs starting before 7am.
I have both an X and an XL I drive. Depending on what the wife is doing and what is going on. So many factors to how things can go, and the luck of the draw on rides sometimes as well. Haven't looked at my numbers for yesterday, but my per hour I know wasn't all that great (for Sunday). Was tired also so wasn't really trying hard either and I could have made a couple different decisions probably would have helped. And there must have been no XL in Park City yesterday. I don't know how many XL rides I turned down from Main Street or Deer Valley when I was in Kimballs. Like 15-20. Not driving all that way for a base fare on Lyft. Finally took a surge ride to airport on Uber and then never made it back up to PC.
Friday $28/hr
Saturday $41/hr
Sunday $22/hr
Did ok for the week overall, avg $28/hr.
This will be St Pats weekend so should be busy Friday and Saturday.
Jazz game tonight, Friday (Pelicans), Saturday and next Monday (Lakers).
Snow (we can only hope) predicted for next Sunday-Wed right now. See if that remains the case (I hope it does!).
Might be a bit slower this week. But the weekend and if it snows next week should be hopping.
Folks should also take into account once ski season does end (mid April), things will slow. Park City won't be the big money maker most of the time like it is right now. Airport slows a bit. etc. So, it's good to prepare and be thinking about strats for the end of ski season.
