Canceled a bike trip I was going to take this week and chose to drive instead.

I doubt I could make it to Jacksonville without pulling over 30 to clean bug guts off my helmet.

I always hated riding this time of year. I pretty much left the bike in the garage except for short trips early in the day.

I drove from Key Largo to Orlando this weekend. Hit the Love Bugs somewhere around MM 165 on the turnpike. My car was a disaster before I got to Orlando. Turned around and drove back Sunday, same crap plastered with Love Bugs until around MM 165 heading south.

When does the season end? I need to go to Orlando in another month.

Love Bugs usually mate for four weeks in the spring and in the fall. This must be their third or fourth week, so it shouldn't be too long.

It
