Hmmm... tech company strikes again.

Went to get gas yesterday. Uber GoBank card declined with negative balance. Supposed to get that $100 backup balance, but it didn't come through. Called yesterday and found out that they don't know why I was declined and they're looking into it.

Did anyone else lose access to the Backup Balance feature? Seems to have happened about the same time that @Maga&dan reported the hack. Maybe related???? 🤔

You Must have 80+ completed trips: last 30 days; otherwise, this option gets deactivated - it's called "Backup Balance Status". Once you drive more, completing at least 80 trips, it will return automatically. Uber sends notifications, check your emails. Also, look up 👀 (30-days total trips completed) in Driver App: If UberPro, (1) click on your Tier level, (2) scroll down to the bottom, (3) find "other rewards", (4) click "UBER VISA card" (attached)

But they gave you 30 days of backup balance once you had your 80 and you had to hit 80 again before that date. But they are not honoring that 30 days until dec 20th. She says it now goes day by day and your backup balance resets as well.

Unlike UberPro, Uber Debit Visa card's Balance is offered by Green Dot, and counts your currently LAST 30 days ONLY, on rolling-scales. Meaning: Every New Day will recalculate "80+ trips" you've completed so far. ONLY most recent 30-days, INCLUDING TODAY, really matter.

"UberPro" counts prior 3-month period to determine the next one's rewards. UberDebit ($100 Backup) wants to see 80 trips = 30 days, up to day - therefore, your total number of (80+ completed) trips will change every day.

What ended on November 20 (in your screenshot) - already expired, the old "30-days" is irrelevant now.
Current 30-days perilous is "November 10 - December 10 (today)".

(note: if you take a vacation, 30-days scaling will freeze, to resume when start driving again...).

But if you notice at the bottom it said it was good until december 20th which they aren't honoring , she explained to me what you said and i get that but that is the new and also there documentaion hasnt been updated becuase it is still saying 30 days after acheving.

Oh yeah.... (sorry, just saw it), then, idk... I'm in OC / LA - here, it's been simple math last 2 years, no credit extensions to upcoming months... just 80 trips/30 days/$100 credit...
