So I went to Los Angeles to drive yesterday from OC.
Three $3 trips in a row.
Three guys and a girl, Caucasians, went from a restaurant to Hollywood Bowl. 1 Mile, 12 minutes. $2.95. Plus the dead mile and minutes coming to get them. No tip. It's cheaper than a bus.
Three Hispanic lady and a kid went from their apartment to Target a few blocks away. Another 15 minutes wasted and $3.35, no tip.
Went up a winding hill for one mile, had to back down at one point to allow downhill drivers, I hit something gently. Luckily no damages . Picked up three young girls at a pool party of some rich boy in Hollywood Hill. 1.5 miles trip. $3. No tip.
Picked up three girls from a bar. Had to make a quick stop so she could open the door and threw up outside. Twice. I could have gotten a ticket for stopping in the middle of the road. My car would have been in trouble if she threw up inside. We could have been rear ended.
Anything could happen in those trips and I would be out of pocket $1000 for deductible.
Not worth it.
I am getting a $3000 car soon for all this.
