It would be great if we could pull up to the curb to drop a pax at LAX and Uber uses its "technology" to already have the pick up pax standing there!
for the drop off set the exact destination "Lax Terminal 4, American-Premium", your pick up gets notified to get over to that spot because the driver is on the way... No waiting, no extra cars in the "horse shoe"
but for some reason I envision a parking lot full of Ubers... not the efficiency described above.
