Here's how I know who Lorde is...

Madonna has a daughter with a similar name.

I watched a show where a bunch of singers each performed a Nirvana song. She performed "All Apologies" and totally butchered the song.

I thought "Wow, Madonna's daughter should rethink her career choice because she sucks as a singer."

Later I found out that this was not Madonna's daughter but was in fact South Park geologist Randy Marsh in drag.

I was driving the three people to an event. Looked very nice. We get there and these guys start running up to the car with staff shirts on and I turn to my Pax and say... They think your guys are somebody. Lol then the lady turns and gives me a look. Haha lol I think they were but I didn't recognize them. I died laughing inside.

Only people that ever complained that I didn't know who they were were two basketball players I picked up around the time of the ESPYs. Of course they were riding pool. "Man, white people don't know **** about basketball". Of course they stopped being jerks when my next pool pax was a 19 year old girl. They spent all their time talking to her, and trying to get her to come with them to their hotel room. She declined, but agreed to meet them later. After they got out, she called who I quickly discovered was her pimp. "Yea, got two ballers who want to party tonight. I think they're from out of town. Should I charge the usual rate, or you think it's OK if I bump it up a notch?".

Gotta love pool.
