There were people who needed rides. I was at the W around midnight. Circled around twice, no ping !!! Too many ants.
It was so quiet from midnight to 1:50am that a lot of ants must have headed home early because surge exploded after 2am. I caught a short 250% Lyft PT then got really lucky to grab a 2.7 Uber Harvard Sq to Braintree. Picked up a couple of local DF trips before deciding to just deadmile it back home. $159 on Uber and $36 on Lyft tonight in 5 hr 20 minute.

Had a very good night but I had to switch over to lyft to take advantage of prime time. Deadmiled maybe 40 minutes in total as well. Still pretty good over 6:30-6:40 hours.
Tomorrow should be the gold mine. Plan to work 4-12.
IF you worked Boston Calling last year, then you know what happens around 1-2am :)

I had some bad luck there. Got a 70% power zone to Quincy and the surge was dying when I got back. Got a 100% prime time to Waltham but they canceled;(. Settled for 70% power zone to Eastie and a free cannoli ;).

Expect a lot of cops around causeway and landsdowne tomorrow night. Be prepared for road closures.

Southie sports bars should be popping for a while, too.

Dead. Stay home. Boston Calling had almost zero surge. Been driving around Boylston St and Beacon, not a single ping in 22min.
The funny thing is riders have been complaining about the higher rates going home when we saw no surge Uber was jacking prices on them. Drove a couple from Auburndale to Boston calling yesterday. It was a$2o fare for them. They told me the night before uber wanted $80 to take them home. Did anyone see a 4x surge Friday night at Boston Calling?
