It sounds not real. It is pr news. 400 miles will not cost that money.
Hey rents are pretty cheap in Va compared to mass so maybe this single ride payed a months rent lolThat trips is ridiculous for the driver. Jesus 16 hour for under $300 plus gas and tolls going back. What's wrong with these driver? Don't they do simple math? I have pity for these driver and no wonder why uber is getting bigger n bigger and driver are getting less and less.
I took one dude to providence too and yes u can take trips at Rhode Island but their rate is if I am not wrong, 82 cents per mile. It doesn't worth to do uber down there.i have learned that any trip out of MA
are just not worth it .
2 fridays ago on my first trip I had a pax from bridgewater to providence place RI.
it &%[email protected]!*ed up my day .
2 things I have learned ...
I can take trips in RI .
there is all ways surge in the app on some parts of RI .
out of MA is never worth it .
So this made the news and the driver ended up making about nine bucks an hour. I know there are debates about cherry picking rides, but how could anyone reasonably expect a driver not to cancel after getting a 400 mile per way trip like this? Not many people with families and/or pets have the luxury of just hitting the road for 18 straight hours on a moment of notice.
I lay claim to the longest Uber ride ever: a 1600 mile sojourn from Waltham, MA to Miami Beach, FL. From around 4pm, May 18, 2017- 9pm, May 19, 2017I took a couple and drove them straight through with stops for bathroom and coffee breaks. My take, after Uber's 20%, was nearly$2600. Naturally, I have supporting documentation should you be interested.
If you're going to drive in Rhode Island, make sure that you go to Newport at night. The surges are always 4 to 5 times and there's constant rides in every direction because nobody drives. That's the only place in Rhode Island that actually makes sense to drive. Also none of your rides will take you very farI took one dude to providence too and yes u can take trips at Rhode Island but their rate is if I am not wrong, 82 cents per mile. Nah I believe everything I read on the internet. Great job! My longest trip was from newton Ma to Nantucket. We all stayed in my car during the ferry ride so I could get paid for those miles.I lay claim to the longest Uber ride ever: a 1600 mile trip from Waltham MA to Miami Beach FL.
