Ah the dreaded stop. Pax had to cash a check at Kroger, I was starving and was thinking about stopping there anyway for some sushi.

We parked, went in together, I ate my dinner while she was in line. Had one piece left when she hopped back in and we were off. Decent fare, great pax.

Definitely my new thing to do. Take every offer for a drink or food, go in if it's a place that is on my list for the day anyway. Kind of makes it legitimate "ride share". :smiles:

Oh and before anyone trolls, she asked if it would be OK.

Not this time but I've had a few drinks and snacks. Just worked out nicely because I was getting ready to go offline to eat anyway, was able to have dinner while in the middle of a trip - no wait for a ping.

I've had passengers want to go to Drive-thrus and they offer to buy me something. If nothing else, it's nice to have the offer. It's the assumption that makes me feel like I'm their underpaid chauffeur.

Absolutely. I used to say "nah, I'm good" but now I take them up on the offer. I get mighty thirsty driving and some hot fries are always a nice snack. They feel good and I don't feel like "the help".

Again, I was going to mark offline to eat anyway. I was able to do so during a paying trip. Win win.
