That lady sounds annoying as ****. Maybe it was just an attempt to get publicity because Lyft and Uber have been around for close to 10 years now. If it wasnt safe, U/L would have been out of business years ago. How many rides have U/L done and she's calling it unsafe? Unvetted drivers? What has she been smoking? Yes, parents would leave their teenage kids with an U/L driver because they are THAT SAFE.

I'm positive she was just trying to create a story to get some attention. Thats why Lyft didnt even discipline the driver when they usually act very quickly if they suspect the driver of any wrongdoing.

If it was a serious issue or real, Lyft would act. God knows how many times she complained before this. I feel she's trying to make something out of thin air for a quick cash grab. Didn't buy "You have pretty eyes" bs at all.

She's far from pretty if that's her in google image. (That means if her story was true, then the driver was most likely lying to her about her pretty eyes in order to longhaul her. Smoooth operator!) The way she over tweeted makes me think she was trying too hard to make her "story" go viral in order to gain publicity. If she wanted to defame U/L, then maybe she should have put some more time into researching the companies at least. Her claim of U/L drivers being unvetted makes her lose all credibility.

So the Lyft driver saw a "dumb blonde" and decided to maximize longhauling her. Good for him. At least I've learned something this. Try to keep you passenger engaged so they wouldn't notice they're being longhauled. I didn't know it was possible to triple the fare with longhauling. That's quite extreme.
