Festival Information
Festival Starts: Thursday, July 28

Festival Ends: Sunday, July 31

Grant Park will open to festival goers at 11am, and the last concert ends every night at 10pm. Ride requests are expected to be high all day, with peak times between 9pm and 12am.

Picking up and dropping off
Head west of Grant Park and Michigan Ave for pickups. While there is no dedicated pickup and drop off point, riders are encouraged to head west to request a ride.

There are two festival entrances:
Main entrance: Michigan Ave & E Congress Pkwy
North Entrance: S Columbus Dr & E Monroe St

Be aware of the following street closures to avoid traffic and get around easily.

• S Columbus Dr from E Monroe St to E Roosevelt Rd
• Jackson Dr from Michigan Ave to S Lake Shore Dr
• E Balbo Ave from Michigan Ave to S Lake Shore Dr

Pro Tips from the Uber team
Demand will be extremely high, and multiple riders will be requesting Uber trips from the same locations. Confirm that you have the correct rider before beginning the trip.

If excited fans accidentally spill or make a mess in your vehicle, just press the button that says 'Cleaning Fee' on the fare review menu, and an Uber representative will be in touch. All we will need is a picture of the mess and a picture of the cleaning receipt.

If you try to contact your rider to confirm their pickup location, but cannot get in touch, continue to the pickup location and click "Arriving Now" to inform the rider. If the rider has not arrived or contacted you after 5 minutes, feel free to cancel the trip.

Why on Earth should we bring water when we have to pay for it and rarely get tipped in the city? I have a 4.9 rating and don't give out water, so what's the point? I carried water when I first started and not once did I get a tip for giving passengers something for free. I no longer do it and my rating has gone up over time as I became more experienced.

If Uber wants to provide a public service to Lollapalooza attendees and attain great public relations, they should set up stands on the grounds and give out bottles of water themselves!

When uber gives out water to give to the pax is when I will give it out. Until then... BYob. In the beginning I gave out water, and pax abused it. Drinking the water and leaving the trash on the seats and floor of the car and in the back pockets. Half empty bottles that weren't even closed. Water leaking everywhere. They least they could do was ask for a trash bag. My rating went up too after not supplying it. BYOB.

I would suggest loading out with a days supply of:
1) Febreze
2) Cold water (for you to stay hydrated not for the pins unless they request to pay for it)
3) *anax
You will consume these items in the order listed. Though it is not suggested to febreze on an empty stomach.
