Sorry I don't feel bad for NYC TLC drivers they are kamikaze drivers and I consider them to be a threat to anyone on the road. Can't count how many times my life flashed before my eyes, because of these morons.

Sucks many times I have to guess if they're gonna make a left or right turn cuz some don't use their signals. They are thinking way too hard in their vehicles.

Ive noticed a lot of people are trying to open my door before i stop. They don't even try to see if its clear.

I tell people beforehand to please exit on the right or left depending on which side I stop on. Some have zero common sense and quickly open their doors with on coming traffic.

My car is auto lock so until I unlock, they can’t open the doors. Only had one instance where a dumb woman tried to exit without looking while I said stop. Almost lost my door, dumbo got a nice fat one star and I yelled at her

Lol I do the same. And every time I see them reaching out for the handle I yell at them not to.

I always unlock the doors myself, you never know when a bicycle may show up and you know they DGF

I drop off on whatever side person is on if it's a one way. I if it's a 2 way u ask them to get off on the right. I think that's simple. My car only unlocks when I put in park or I manually do it.

Some people here said it is illegal for the driver to keep the riders from unlocking the door themselves. It sucks because I would keep them from unlocking the doors themselves if I was allowed to.

Ah just a daily morning nyc routine, get coffee, bagel hail a cab, pay for a cab and proceed to 360 a cyclist with the door as exiting with just an oops and keep going

I'm a nyc tlc driver and I agree big time.They are all dumb ****ing drivers. every accident I see always involves a tlc driver.
and more than once I see these fresh in new york drivers watching something on their phones as they drive.

Ever notice they cut someone off or do something completely dumb, you catch up to them and they are leaning forward in total tunnel vision mode. Like they don't signal, check mirrors, they just lol straight ahead. It's weird!
