Wrong. When I got a callback on Friday, they offered to do my application. I turned it down because the bill hadn't been passed yet, but yesterday I filled out another callback Forman's am trying to call again tomorrow.

3 days later You will receive a call from the office, but they can not help.

This tactic has been done in China , Cuba, North Korea, and Vietnam.

Fill it out and you'll receive an email with your confirmation number. The email also lists all the info you'll need to supply. Uber and Lyft addresses can be found on your 1099s.

Probably take a few days to get contact as they're overwhelmed but get yourself into the queue.

It goes by the last number of your social security number it will tell you the day to call then it hangs up

Also from Mass UI site, "Unfortunately, until more specific guidance is issued, those who would not traditionally qualify for unemployment insurance remain ineligible for benefits through the UI Online application system. However, once guidance is given payments under Pandemic Unemployment Assistance will be retroactive to January 27, 2020.

So it sucks hard that it's taking so long to implement but at least we stand to get a big initial pay-out.

If needed while waiting, try to take advantage of any offers from your creditors to defer payments for a time until the benefits kick in.

Don't forget: UI is taxable income. I think they provide an option to take withholdings out. Good idea if you're getting income but not racking up deductible mileage and expenses.
