While it is surging nicely at the early hour due to the rain and wind there are some good telltale signs that airport demand is a lot lighter than normal.
Hardly any traffic backed up on the 190 heading into the terminals. It’s generally bumper to bumper at 6am.
Terminal 3 was not congested at all.
A colleague of the pax I was driving were texting back and forth and it took the person already at the airport literally 3 minutes to get through security. That does not happen on a Monday morning.
Maybe the traditional neighborhood to loop rush will be busier than normal notwithstanding the weather if workers have to stay local vs. traveling.
