Here are my fares for today driving in Bergen county since 6am. 3.31. 4.00. 4.36. 5.41 3.20 3.20 4.00 3.46. 8.47. 5.04. 6.90. Total 63.98. But thanks to clever manipulation of the hourly guarantee I'm up to about 140.00 on the day. Taking my time on every ride. Not even driving towards the passenger without waiting almost 5 minutes. UBER ... THE PASSENGERS GET WHAT THEY PAY FOR.

Nice job as long as you can make the minimum number of trips. Anything you can do to stick it to Uber is a good thing!!

I've got it down to a science. Very little mileage on my car today. I did have to turn down one ride into the city. I just explained to the customer that with the new discount prices I would be losing money by taking her there.

I got pinged almost 10 minutes ago by some guy in East Orange. My car hasn't moved yet. Fewer trips = greater profit for the drivers. And more discusted Uber passengers. Do I feel guilty for screwing the passengers ? Do they feel guilty for never tipping ?

If you're doing it for the guarantees make it quick. Sounds like they'll be gone in a couple weeks or so.

I love now I can see where they are going before going to them. I got to turn down 2 rides. 1 to Hoboken and one to the city. I didn't have time to drive to Hoboken and back before I had to pick up my daughter.

I'm going out from 6-2 tonight any recommendations? I'm trying to make at least $120 tonight.

No offense, but making $120 in 8 hours is not something to aim for. I used to make $300+ in 8 hours before the rate cuts.

Easy Justanotherday. Take just enough rides to stay above 1.2 an hour. If you have to go to an area where it's really slow for a few hours. Keep the trips short if you can. Maybe near a train station like a Path station where the passengers are getting off the train for a short ride home. I waited at least 5 minutes and sometimes 10 today before I even moved my car after I got pinged. Less trips, as short as possible and bad service is the key. And it will keep your mileage low. Drive as slowly as you can. I had several customers bit@@ about my slow driving today.

Had a ping this morning. Drive to pin, in the middle of a shopping center parking lot at 6:45a.m. Sit there (I rarely ever contact pax).

Get a text 5 min. later saying she's at the Chevron gas station. Sit there another 5 min before moving (Not gonna get in a hurry because pax can't figure out how to use the app).

Drive a mile where she really was. She gets in and starts telling me how late for work she is. Me: "Well you're gonna be a little bit later because traffic is horrible". I get in the slowest lane on the road, while she is back there huffing and puffing and I'm dying laughing on the inside.

Uber has caused this and I don't feel sorry for the pax.

Oh and NO Tip for my troubles. lol
