Any stories about quitting Uber and Lyft and become successful? Or maybe not so much ?
Would be interesting to hear .
As for me, I am still a full timer driver but also a full time (online) student . Learning how to code.

No one has ever stopped being a rideshare driver and ever had any success at anything else in life. Don't you know that when you download the app it also installs another app that hypnotized you and due to this you will fail at anything else you ever try. I want to tell you how to overcome this but the app in my head is telling me to drive.

Travis Kalanick is doing pretty well after leaving Uber. Also, the guy who works for the HUD director was formerly an Uber driver.

I just took a drug-screen last Friday for a fulltime job. Monday- Friday, 9-5. Hotel Maintenance position.

I was banned on Uber over a false complaint. I still do Lyft, but it will be part time once I start working.

update to this post. i drove a pax home today her car is in the shop. she is a store manager at a sales store. she asked me why i am no longer doing my normal day job but driving. its the heat my health. if its hot i get sick. i need to cool down and stay cool. its not a good situation at all. she said i can work full or part time . what ever i want. part time salary 20 hours a week plus commission what ever is greater. she said they need a guy that likes to talk to people that is clean cut dresses nice . ill start next week i decided to do it part time at first then move up to 40 hours. in a week or so after my paid training is completed. so 20 hours a week salary is 30k a year. plus commission. top pay is 100k a year. 40 hours. i have sales experience just in a different department. and to kick it off. 12 mile ride 20 dollar cash tip. she said she will pay for 3 suites before i start.. 5 after i go full time.

Good for you ! We all need to get our butts out of this gig.
I wish programmers had a forum like this one. They only have big forums how to fix their stupid code . When I worked in retail , they had one website I always visited for retail workers. Even cops have their own website forum where they chat about everyday work like we do here.
But what I am studying is very very boring and people are also very very boring . Only nerds would study this stuff. Help me God!
