Your question seems to have gone off on a tangent. Exactly what do you even wanna know? If a passenger dies because they caught covid-19 allegedly from a driver, well then the only person paying is that passenger with his life and their family with funeral costs. There isn't enough testing to go around and a driver could be infected without any symptoms. As for TLC paying you for lost time, keep dreaming. Insurance rates have gone down for private car owners because there aren't any cars on the road.

It looks like the only thing the riders can do is go to uber and accuse you of being sick, at this point it's good to wear a mask when driving for uber. Yesterday I went into a store and a woman customer was yelling at me for not wearing a mask. I told her if she had a problem with people going out with no masks then she should stay home.

She was telling me it was against the law not to have a mask, and that I can get a ticket. I told her no, the city only recommended for people to wear masks. She was telling me the virus travels through the air. She should go argue with the air!
