Lux cars are all TCP. That means you need commercial plates and a TCP license from the state. Financing is different and more expensive than a regular non commercial registered car since it will depreciate faster. The good news is that it's the only way to get a new account that can opt into UberBlack, which was capped due to it being over saturated.I'm just full of questions the past 24 hours.
So is anybody in LA area leasing a LUX vehicle? I know you have to be on call 12 hours a day and can go hours without ride. Is anyone making a decent net? How much? And how much you leasing car for?

Come on, would Uber screw a driver like that?Yes I'm aware of this. I'm nervous to pull trigger on purchase; it's the only way now to apply for TCP- new law; and because it takes about 3 months to be cleared what if I purchase and then Uber closes new LUX applicants?
