It was surging 2.5x for quite a while then all of a sudden surge disappeared completely even though the queue was empty and pax were waiting. Weird.
LAX surge turned off
I guess uber wants to give money to lyft tonight. Try queue has been at one for an hour now and no surge. Lyft is prime time at 200%.

Several Burbank flights diverted to LAX and Ontario. This created some additional demand from pax who parked their cars at BUR but found themselves arriving at a different airport.
