You need to be in the queue. Have you read the LAX pick-up/drop-off requirements? Do you have the LAX placard?

I have one from when I was driving for lyft. Never got one for uber.

You need a placard for both Uber and Lyft.

Also there is a new placard for both....the old placard is a ticket magnet.

Ok I'll get the new one. I haven't been to lax in a bit. I usually work the north part of LA. Haven't had any issues with dropping ppl off though.

Not having the updated permit could set you back for a $1000 plus the embarrassment of being pulled over in front of everyone.

Lax cops are looking for the tiniest excuse to write you up an expensive one so if you don't have proper papers, don't even drop off there until you get it fixed.
