Be grateful that you are able to get £100. Private hire drivers and taxi drivers are self employed small businesses. I don't get why people are looking for a hand to feed them. You are and always have been in charge of your own destiny.

There is no work. Kind of like the situation when Uber muscled in into areas without a proper license and decimated local drivers leaving them with no work. St Albans is a prime example.

Local drivers - 90% of which were claiming benefits and scamming the system. What goes around comes around

What has claiming benefits got to do with loss of work due to an unregulated and unlicensed company operating in a drivers area? It is easy to point fingers at a trade which has a high number of ethnic drivers but what about the building trades (gas, electrics, brickies etc)and the benefits they claim and tax schemes they are a part of?

But you are right. What goes around comes around. It's just now it is coming back round right back at you.
