Did you get a positive test? Just wondering if they put your account on hold because you asked about assistance - that would be ridiculous but totally expected by U/L.

guy has a head cold - gets free money for two weeks instead of relying on savings .. "sucking at the welfare teat". I can't make this stuff up.

Sadly the reviled "Cradle to grave" help may yet be fulfilled pretty quick for some people on this very forum.

I'm a life long Democrat but I dint believe in big brother taking full control and making us beg them for hand outs. I believe individual is able to take care of themselves when you alllow them the freedom to do so.

High school was free and I took advantage of it
Went to public university. Took out loans. Paid them. I also got aid because I was poor.
Since age of 20 I've done everything for myself. Since I have never had kids I've paid a ton of taxes

Sorry i don't believe in cradle to grave never will but help for a short time is a good thing for everyone. Yes even conservatives. As to Obamacare well it helped plenty of people screwed other's including me. I won't get into it but i was hurt by it. But glad you got help.

Obama care was great for my parents. They got better healthcare all for free. They were poor as hell. For my brother it was terrible. He lost his doctor bad rates almost tripled.
Great for poor. Terrible for middle class. Brother pays over $2000 a month for anthem.

Ditto. I owe my very prosperity to people who thought that though I was poor It was still worth it to give me a hand.
Next step then, Medicare for all.
Were you ever poor ? « No new clothes » poor. « No eating out poor « ? " No school activities " poor ? "No allowance" poor ?

No. I was lucky. But in college i worked my ass off at Walmart 40 hours a week and went to college. You see i believe in personal responsibility and yes people can have hard times and the government should be there to help them for that. But i do not and never well believe in cradle to grave. Clearly you do.
Also i have had asthma my whole life back before Obamacare i looked for a job that paid benefits. Both Walmart and Wells Fargo had benefits and neither required a degree.

Growing up in low income apts to having my own home and my brother owning a house too. I appreciate where I come from
