last night sucked, slowest friday i've ever had..didn't get my first ping until 11 after being out since 8 (unheard of for a friday)

new drivers all over the place, my usual hang out spot had 3 damn cars there, so i did what in uber vet would do, i took ride requests..ended the night with about 230 net


Also to add to the BS of the flood of newbies is i spotted 2 damn cabs doing uber X (app open,tradedress and everything)

tonight i did even worse,didnt go to airport so i netted about 130..also kicked my first pax out my car, unfortunately it was an xl ride so all 7 had to go

Are you sure they were using Uber? A new app just came out recently called My RVA Taxi which is a competitor to Uber and is only for the Taxi companies. Its basically the exact same thing from what I have seen and works the same way.

BTW, why did you have to kick your riders out for that one ride?

Hey guys I was living in Glen Allen/Richmond areA for about three years up until last July and loved it. Unfortunately I moved back to NYC and its a huge mistake. I currently drive for Uber here but really want to come back to RVA. My question is, how is uber doing down there? Are you guys making it? What are the requirements for RVA? I know it's a bit personal and under stand if you guys don't want to tell.

Dont know how it would compare to NYC but I think it isnt too bad. It has slowed down quite a bit after the first month or so though because of all the drivers now but if I push it, I can take home $500-600 in a week after fees. I havent driven in the last month though but plan to start up again soon

Thanks for the response. Thats not a bad haul. I'm just trying to see how to get out of NY and Back to VA. 500-600 is gold compare to the cost of living in NY

Thats really when I am pushing super late nights on Friday and Saturday (like to 4am-5am) as well as starting earlier in the afternoons. Also being available as much as I can during the week

I normally avg 650-750 working Thursday to Sunday nights. That feleaves off some during the college break

As for the cab, yes he had the trademark in the win downtown and the app open on the phone (drivers app)
