while the carlyle group sat doing nothing, uber began their attack on london. they watched the taxi trade protest and force a high court hearing but added nothing. they've seen taxi drivers attempt crowdfunding over TFL's removal of road space and still they did nothing.

i think Pastor Niemöller says it best:


First they came for the Socialists, and I did not speak out—
Because I was not a Socialist.

Then they came for the Trade Unionists, and I did not speak out—
Because I was not a Trade Unionist.

uber have only just got started. i think we can all think of simple ideas uber could do to really decimate the competition. they will do these things and more.
