The Nevada Transportation Authority in the first public hearing discussed this topic. The judge who always sits on the left of the Chairman at the NTA meetings at the public hearing said the issue of Uber pickups at casino would become an issue between Uber and the private property owner and not the NTA. The Uber black colored Cadillac truck was also discussed at length in this meeting.^^^
The article keeps quoting Mandalay Bay, but does that mean that Uber will be able to do Strip pickups?
I thought that that was a no-go, so the fees quoted would be immaterial to the subject at hand.
The Road Warrior wrote both articles.Without getting into a long winded answer, I think the reporter just used two well known locations for the readers comprehension. On the first Uber go around, an RJ reporter used a "my house in North Las Vegas to the RJ building" comparison.
