I had way too much time to post on this page today.
It was more like a regular Sunday then like a holiday.
Some good rides early.
I am not hanging around for the after dinner trips. I didn't take many to dinner, so I don't expect many after dinner trips.
This will be a hundred and twenty dollar net day.
Some money is better than no money, but I really need a real job soon.

Evening wasn't too bad. I caught 4 surge rides between 930-1100. Two of 'em were good trips. Made 80 bucks a in couple hours & went home. What's up with all the airport pings outside of the geo fence? I'm getting airport pings in Mission Valley, Hillcrest & DT constantly on busy nights.

I hear that. I get airport pings on Broadway. WTF? I call and ask where they are going. If it is a good ride I pick them up. I view the PAX app and see multiple cars stacked up at Liberty Station. Uber is having some "technical issues".

Anytime I go to Liberty Station I can almost guarantee that I won't get an airport pick up, but anytime I manage to get a parking spot on Harbor Drive, it's the total opposite! It's like its a guaranteed pick up zone... And usually the wait isn't that long, even when I know that there are drivers at Lib. Station.
So I've been thinking that the FIFO zone/system may be flawed, for quite some time now.
..but I could be wrong lol

Btw, Had my first decent day in a while yesterday...
$150 for about 8hrs after ubers cut
I could have cleared over $220 easily, but called it off early before the evening rush hour. (Drove from 7am-3pm..rush hour starts @ about 4pm so I could have easily made more)
It seemed busy, but this could have been due to a few different factors coming off of a 4-day weekend.
Also there probably were less drivers on the road yesterday, due to many of you working this holiday weekend, so I'm thinking yesterday was an off day for many of you.

Ok...so call ahead!? I'll try that. I've only done 3 airport p/u's and they were short trips so I gave up. I'll give it another try if I'm pinged while on 4th avenue again.
Damn really?!?...I called it a night around 1am. Got some good rides in plus I had a good Labor Day weekend so I wasn't pressed for rides anyway but I'll always take some surge. I'll hang around tonight. Judging from the past few days, either some drivers are taking a break or the new batch of noobs already quit cause it was wide open last night.
