It absolutely amazes me the number of uber and lyft riders in sf that are willing to put their infants and toddlers in a car without a car seat. Stupid ****ers. Thank you. I'll collect my $5 cancellation fee and keep driving. What's even worse is the number of drivers who will take the kid without a car seat.

I cancelled a trip yesterday, had a ~6 month old they were going to hold on there lap and they got all in my face like i was in the wrong.

The trip that spawned the original post happened to be lyft, so I tweeted them and they told me to call the safety center, who said they would be sending the riders account to safety team for possible removal.

Once months ago I had a mother bring a toddler seat with her that she strapped him into.

I was so shocked. Its the only ride I've made a comment on, ever.

I refused to take pax with infants and toddlers. I know they will be mad but I don't care. Sometimes I even bother to rell them the obvious that is for their own kids safety but they don't care. And of course the clasic "other drivers do it" and I know they do.
