I just signed up today and I am still waiting for my approval. But now I am scared to even start after reading things on here! I am just trying to do this temporarily until I find something more substantial in order to make my car payment each month and a little extra. Is $650 profit even doable since I can't drive in St. Charles County where I live? I wish I would have found this Forum before I signed up

I live in St Charles, too. You shouldn't have any trouble making that much a month, if you are willing to drive over the bridge and cruise or park and wait for 20-30 hours a week. Summer is slow, but usually I get at least one ride per hour, sometimes the minimum fare but more often my cut is $10-15, occasionally over $20. The surge is pretty much gone in the summer.

Don't let this forum scare you off. A lot of anti Uber clowns on here. Some are taxi drivers. My only advice is to be very careful dealing with drunks at night. I use Life360 app so my family can always check and see where I am.

I saw a driver with Illinois plates. it said Uber taxi on a top Light. he would also pick up random flags of people downtown and charge them cash. he said he was making$ 200 or more a night doing that when it was busy in downtown st. Louis. Pretty anything goes now if you want to pickup people for money. We wont get charged By Uber much Longer there are over 20+ other companies already going or starting up much cheaper and better than Uber. I turn Uber customers into my personals so i dont get charged % and give a discount if they pay me in cash. Uber probably wont figure this one out for years. I turned my former taxi
Customers into Uber customers and then into personals. Run a square credit card app and the fee is less than 3%! God bless America. Taxi companies tried to rip us off as drivers then Uber tried to rip off customers and drivers. You gotta love this! Build your own book of customers fast ! I know 30 or more professional long time drivers taking onlybthe highest paying trips from both the taxi companies and Uber platforms. As time goes on thousands of others will fight for the scraps left over. Once illegal aliens are allowed to drive for these companies the prices you may charge will plummet! THis already happening in Texas.
